HALAL CERTIFICATION

 (Storage Service/Warehouse)
(Cereals and Cereal Products Which Are Derivative Products From Cereal Seeds, Roots and Tubers, Nuts and Pith with Process and Additives)

According to the Indonesian government regulation No. 42 of 2024 on the Implementation of Halal Product Assurance applies to all food products within Indonesia, and imported foods will become mandatory by 2026.

In Indonesia, the primary bodies governing halal certification are the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH) and the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI). BPJPH is the main authority responsible for overseeing the certification process and implementing the halal product assurance system, while MUI sets the standards for halal compliance and issues halal fatwas. In essence, BPJPH handles the overall administration of halal certification, while MUI, through its various bodies, defines the halal standards and ensures compliance.
