HORTICULTURE
HORTICULTURE PRODUCTS are the branch of agriculture of plant cultivation that includes vegetables, nuts, and seeds and they are different from agricultural products in two ways. First is the smaller scale of cultivation from small plots of mixed crops. Second is the cultivation with fruit trees or ground crops.
The family can be called as Allium – monocot genus or referred to as onion genus. The genuses include edible onions, garlic, chives, and scallions. They can be used raw or cooked. Alliums are grown on temperate climates in the Northern Hemisphere and most are grown from solitary or clustered tunicate bulbs and many have an onion odor and taste.
