
CANARY SEEDS
Seeds are originated off plants, also called as Phalaris canariensis. A native of Mediterranean region where they are grown commercially now for bird feeds.
Characteristics
- Canary seeds are shiny brown where they are used as bird food and are generally mixed with other seeds that cheapen them.
- They should be kept in a dry place and away from vermin.
Uses
Canary seeds are currently used almost exclusively as bird feeds / Birdfood.
