RED MILLET

Red Millet Proso is similar to the White Millet Proso. It is a grass seed.

Characteristics

• Proso millet requires very little water, possibly the lowest water requirement of any cereal, and converts water most efficiently to dry matter/grain Proso is very shallow rooted and does not grow well under water stress, nor under excess moisture.

Uses

Specifically used for birdfeed.
